The Travelway Inn is proud to be a continued supporter of Graphic-Con.  When reserving directly with the hotel all attendees will be offered the special promotional Graphic Con room rate.

 The Travelway Inn is centrally located across the street from beautiful Ramsey Lake, Science North and just a short 5-minute drive from the Sudbury Community Arena.

 The Travelway Inn provides our guests with complimentary Deluxe Hot breakfast every morning from 7-10am. We are also pleased to offer complimentary in-room high speed wireless internet, a beautiful business center, guest den, and coin laundry on site.

A standard room features two double beds, newly renovated bathroom and dry bar with a refrigerator, complimentary in room coffee, hairdryer, iron / ironing board, good sized working desk, and sitting area with a comfortable chair and table.  Please note that for the comfort of all our guests the Travelway Inn is entirely smoke and pet free.

When entering Graphic-Con you agree with these rules. You are obligated to follow instructions from staff & volunteers at all times. If any criminal behavior is being noticed we will immediately contact the police.


Announced events and guests are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes on the Graphic-Con website & Social Media pages.


Graphic-Con is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.


No functional weapons are allowed at Graphic-Con. Simulated or costume weapons are allowed as a part of your costume, Guns must have orange tips (no sharp/protruding ends). See cosplay rules for accepted materials.Also please be advised that the Graphic-Con will be following the restrictions of weapons as per the Criminal Code of Canada, so please familiarize yourself with those rules & restrictions.


Graphic-Con is a first-come, first-served event. Due to fire regulations, we cannot go over the room’s capacity. We are bound by law to enforce this. In the event of lineups we ask that you follow instructions and not to block any entrances or fire exits. In order to keep this a free flowing event “hall-camping” is discouraged. Attendees may be asked to move along in order to free up space for those who are waiting to enter the Arena floor.  The stands are available as overflow/conversation areas. Once lineups dissipate those who wish to return inside can do so.  Tickets grant in and out privileges. Attendees must also respect the traffic going into the Market and the businesses around the Arena.


Graphic-Con will not allow any of this on the convention floor. Graphic-Con Staff and Security have the right to ask you to leave if you are behaving in an inappropriate fashion (including violence and indecent behavior)


Parking is free on weekends in any municipal lot.


Please use common sense when taking photographs and ask your subjects if it is okay to photograph them.


No alcohol is allowed at any time during Graphic-Con


No drug use or possession of drugs is allowed at any time during Graphic-Con.


No commercial activities are allowed at Graphic-Con, unless you are registered by Graphic-Con.


Please do not abuse the convention facilities. This includes throwing trash anywhere other than garbage cans and smoking in non-designated areas.


If you have complaints please see a designated Graphic-Con coordinator on the floor.
