Dr. Terawatt

About Dr. Terawatt

Known to many as Toronto’s greatest villain and to some as a genius visionary, Dr. Terawatt is a gentleman who is, above all else, trying to take over the world. It has been some years now since the Doctor made his first appearance at Fan Expo 2008. Since then he has attained multiple weapons of questionable lethality, minions whom loyally follow his orders to their best efforts, exo-suits of mechanical and megalomaniacal feats, a broadcast on the internet and lastly… rivals. But this journey has not been all unfolding plots of a sinister nature. After getting started by notifying the city of his presence onstage he began to tell his story proper in the form of a web comic “The Misadventures of Dr. Holocaust” later adding a web show “The War Front” to keep people informed. But many ask why, WHY go through it all to rule this world? Ostensibly his is a journey to better humanity. For, as he believes, it is only through his vision that we are able to live in peace and comfort. Though that should not stop you from trembling in fear, no SIR! For in the coming years none will be spared his scrutinizing gaze and thirst for destruction…

ROB SACCHETTO

About Rob Sacchetto

In 2006 I invented an online service in which I hand paint people as the living dead, called Zombie Portraits. People simply send me a jpeg of themselves or a loved one and I hand illustrate them as zombies using traditional means like paint, pen and ink, with no computer photo-shopping involved. So far I have ‘zombified’ over 5,000 people all over the world! It feels odd to say that I actually invented something, but at that time, no one had ever provided the service I started. I started Zombie Daily in 2008, a blog where I post a new original zombie drawing or painting every day! Zombie Daily led the publishing company Ulysses press to offer me two book deals, “The Zombie Handbook: How to Identify the Living Dead and Survive the Coming Zombie Apocalypse”, and “Zombiewood : The Celebrity Dead Exposed”. My Zombie Portrait service also caught the attention of noted zombie author Jonathan Maberry, who asked me to create character ‘chase’ card illustrations for that book, I’m featured in the documentary “Zombiemania” and provided the morphing zombie portrait drawings for me and the other noted zombie experts who were interviewed, including George Romero, Tom Savini, Max Brooks and Greg Nicotero. In 2013 I published my first (crowd funded), graphic novel entitled’ ‘Rob Sacchetto’s Cape Fear,’ a One Hundred and Fifty page fantasy/adventure/horror genre book, and have since been working on its sequels. With both the Zombie Portraits, and the Zombie Daily, sites, I believe that I’ve drawn more zombies than anyone on the planet.
